SYMPTOMS

Under Initialization in the Modem Configuration dialog box, the Run script option may be unavailable. Because of this, you may be unable to use a pre-dial script with a Phone Book entry.

CAUSE

This problem can occur because a logic error in Windows 2000 incorrectly disables this option.

RESOLUTION
