ENT2001: Single Instance Recurring Appointment Replicated on Every Day (272992)

SYMPTOMS

If you download Calendar items on your Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox to the Entourage local Calendar, appointments or events that are set to reoccur at certain intervals are displayed as occurring every day.

WORKAROUND

Edit the recurring appointment series of the item in the Entourage Calendar to change the recurrence pattern.

NOTE: Editing the item in the Entourage Calendar does not change the item on the Exchange Server mailbox.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

To edit the Calendar item on the Entourage Calendar:
  1. Click the local Calendar in the Entourage Folder List.
  2. Locate and double-click the Calendar item.
  3. Click Recurrence, and in Recurring Event, click Weekly.
  4. Ensure that the day of the week on which you wish to have the item reoccur is selected, and that the Start and End settings are correct.
  5. Click OK.
