Winsock2 WSADuplicateSocket() Function Does Not Work on QoS-Enabled Sockets (271989)

SYMPTOMS

The Winsock2 WSADuplicateSocket function does not work on Quality of Service-enabled sockets. Error response "WSAEINVAL" is received when the function is called.

In addition, Windows 2000 Quality of Service (QoS) functionality may not work properly on Microsoft Proxy Server.

RESOLUTION
