SYMPTOMS
When you use the Search for Files and Folders feature, every file name you enter in the Search for Files or Folders Named: box is archived and remains on your computer until you remove it.

You can use Registry Editor to remove one or more entries from the archived list of search requests. This list is located in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Doc Find Spec MRU STATUS
