SUMMARY

This topic refers to Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 technology that is updated for Microsoft Windows 2000. In Windows 2000, replication of logon scripts is handled by File Replication Service (FRS), a multi-threaded, multi-master replication engine. In Windows 2000, logon scripts are stored in the Sysvol folder which is replicated automatically to all domain controllers by FRS.
