Receiving Many Simultaneous H.323 Requests Causes a Computer with ISA Server Installed to Hang (271379)

SYMPTOMS

After a few seconds of receiving a few hundred simultaneous H.323 requests, a computer that has Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server installed may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because of a single-thread deadlock in the RemoveRandomFWPacket routine.

RESOLUTION
