SUMMARY

If the Microsoft SideWinder Game Controller 4.0 software is already installed on your computer, then when you install an additional SideWinder 4.0-compatible game controller, the software and schemes for the new SideWinder game controller are automatically installed in the same folder in which the SideWinder 4.0 software is installed.

MORE INFORMATION

You cannot install the software for the new SideWinder 4.0-compatible game controller in a different folder. This behavior prevents Microsoft Windows from starting more than one copy of the SideWinder Central utility when you start the computer.

In addition, this behavior allows each SideWinder 4.0-compatible game controller to share schemes with your other SideWinder 4.0-compatible game controllers.
