Scanner Does Not Work While Lamp Is Warming (267505)

When you press the scan button on a scanner to scan an image, your scanner may not start scanning the image. When this occurs, you may not receive any messages to indicate what is happening.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when the scanner lamp is warming up. Most scanners need a variable period of time to heat the scanner lamp, and the scanner may not work until this process completes.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, wait until the scanner lamp warms up.
