Error Message When You Cut a Windows Media Player Object from a Document in WordPad (267495)

SYMPTOMS

When you add a Microsoft Windows Media Player file to a WordPad document, and then try to cut it from the document, you may receive the following error message:
WordPad has caused an error in WMP.OCX. WordPad will now close.

When you quit WordPad, you may receive the following error message:
WordPad has caused an error in MFC42.DLL. WordPad will now close.

When you try to save a document with a Windows Media Player object inserted, you may receive the following error message:
WordPad has caused an error in MFC42.DLL. WordPad will now close.

CAUSE

WordPad does not fully support Windows Media Player files. Although you can place Windows Media Player files in a WordPad document, you cannot save or modify the document without receiving an error message.
