Content Advisor Prompts for a Password When Opening a Troubleshooter in Help and Support (266301)

When you click a link to a troubleshooter within Help and Support in Windows Millennium Edition, Content Advisor may prompt you for a password. If you click Cancel instead of supplying the password, links no longer function until you close and reopen Help and Support.
RESOLUTION
To avoid receiving the password prompt, use one of the following methods:
- When you are prompted for a password, click the Always allow this Web site to be viewed option, type the correct password, and then click OK. Anyone who uses the computer now has access to all of the troubleshooters without being asked to provide a password.
- Disable Content Advisor:
- Start Internet Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- On the Content tab, in the Content Advisor area, click Disable.
- In the Supervisor Password Required dialog box, type your Content Advisor password, and then click OK.
