DeInterlace Does Not Work with Sources in the PAL Format (266225)

SYMPTOMS

If the input source to the Windows Media Encoder is in the PAL format, the DeInterlace feature does not work. You can still use this format in a Source Group, but you cannot use the DeInterlace feature.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Media Encoder version 7.0.

MORE INFORMATION

The DeInterlace feature works for the NTSC format.
