OFF2000: "Required Registry Information Is Missing..." Error When You Start Programs on Macintosh PowerPC (265707)

When you start any of the programs listed at the beginning of this article on a Macintosh PowerPC that is running a Microsoft Windows emulation, you may receive the following error message:
Required registry information is missing and this application can not run. Please rerun setup to correct this problem.
NOTE: You may also receive the error message when you restart the computer, after you finish installing the Office 2000 program.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur when the all of the following conditions are true:
- You are using a Macintosh PowerPC with an Orange Micro OrangePC model 620 or 660 Windows Compatibility Card installed.
- Microsoft Windows 98 is the version of Windows running on the card.
- The card is using Orange Micro OrangePC software version 3.4.1 or earlier.
NOTE: Microsoft has not tested the programs listed above on an Orange Micro OrangePC or Windows Compatibility Card.
RESOLUTION
Orange Micro has released an updated version of the OrangePC software that should resolve this problem. For more information about this problem and to download the updated software, go to the following Orange Micro Web site:
