SYMPTOMS

When you run the Windows Media Player tour in 16 colors (VGA), you receive the following script error:

WORKAROUND

Configure your adapter to use more than 16 colors. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Display icon, and then click the Settings tab.
  3. Click to select a setting in the Colors drop-down box greater than 16 colors.
  4. Restart the computer if you are prompted.
NOTE: If you are having difficulties setting your display adapter to more than 16 colors, try the steps in the "Video Display Troubleshooter" in Help and Support or contact your display adapter manufacturer for assistance.
