Mailbox creation callback doesn't rename any folders in mailbox (264379)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in to move an Exchange 2000 mailbox by clicking a user, clicking Exchange tasks, and then clicking Move Mailbox, you may receive the following error in the Event viewer even though the move is successful:

EXCDO 8215 The mailbox creation callback failed to rename any folders in mailbox Mailbox - username.

RESOLUTION

This error can be ignored.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
