SYMPTOMS

When you view the Media Control devices on the Devices tab in the Sounds and Multimedia tool in Control Panel, "ActiveMovie MCI Driver" is listed twice.

CAUSE

This driver is listed twice for compatibility with older programs.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
