PRB: You Cannot Add More Than 12 Computers to an Application Center 2000 Cluster (263164)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to add more than 12 computers to a single Application Center 2000 cluster, you may receive the following error message:
C0140067 AC_ERROR_MAX_MEMBER_NUM - The maximum number of members allowed for this cluster has been reached.

CAUSE

Microsoft Application Center 2000 has a limit of 12 computers in a single cluster.

RESOLUTION

If you have to have greater scalability, use more than one Application Center cluster.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
