SYMPTOMS

When you try to upgrade to a dynamic disk you may receive the following error message and the upgrade procedure may stop responding (hang):
LDM configuration disk write error

CAUSE

The beta driver for the HighPoint Technologies HPT 366 Ultra66 IDE Controller may not support this process.

STATUS

HighPoint Technologies may have included Windows 2000 beta drivers with your motherboard.
