FIX: Plaintext Stored Procedures Appear as Encrypted Text in SQL Server Profiler Trace File (260722)

SYMPTOMS
Certain stored procedures may appear as "Encrypted Text" in the SQL Server Profiler trace file although the stored procedures were not encrypted when they were created. This makes it impossible to effectively troubleshoot the performance of a stored procedure.
Please note that this bug does not occur in Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, but does occur when you install Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 Service Pack 1.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server 7.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 2 for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.
