PI2000: Picture It! Quits Unexpectedly When You Attempt to Open or Save a File (259758)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to open or save a file in Microsoft Picture It! 2000 or Microsoft Picture It! Express 2000, the program may quit unexpectedly.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:
  • You are using a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer.
  • Software for a Kodak DC-265, DC-280, or related Universal Serial Bus (USB) model digital camera is installed on the computer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, you must either uninstall Picture It! 2000 or Picture It! Express 2000, or uninstall the Kodak digital camera software.

This issue does not occur with earlier versions of Microsoft Windows.
