Scanning Mode Is Unavailable with OnScreen Keyboard in Windows Millennium (259527)

When you try to use Scanning mode with the On Screen Keyboard accessibility feature, you are unable to do so. This feature is unavailable on the Settings/Typing Mode tab, even though the feature is referenced in the Help file.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Scanning mode is not available in Windows Millennium, and the Help file contains a documentation error.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
