SYMPTOMS

If you have a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live PCI sound card, you may experience a loss of sound several minutes after you start Windows 2000. The sound capability may also disappear by itself or after you start certain programs.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Creative Labs to obtain new drivers for Windows 2000 and the Sound Blaster Live sound cards. You can download Windows 2000 drivers from the following Creative Labs Web site:
