To change the font that you use to create new e-mail messages:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Sending tab.
  2. Under When Composing New Messages, click Font.

    NOTE: If the Font button is not available, Microsoft Word may be your e-mail editor. To change this option, on the Tools menu, click to clear the Use Word as the E-mail Editor check box.
  3. Choose the font, font style, font size, and font effects that you want, and then click OK.
  4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
To change the font that you use to reply to e-mail messages:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Reading tab.
  2. Under When Replying to a Message, click Font.

    NOTE: If the Font button is not available, Word may be your e-mail editor. To change this option, on the Tools menu, click to clear the Use Word as the E-mail Editor check box.
  3. Choose the font, font style, font size, and font effects that you want, and then click OK.
  4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
To change the font that you use to forward e-mail messages:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Reading tab.
  2. Under When Forwarding a Message, click Font.
