When you are installing Internet Explorer 5.01, you may receive the following error message:
Setup was unable to install all the components. Please close all
applications and try running Setup again.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are using a version of the Ie5setup.exe file from Internet Explorer 5, but you are trying to download and install Internet Explorer 5.01.
RESOLUTION
Download the latest version of the ie5setup.exe file from the following Microsoft Web site and then try the installation again:
