Report Prefix Specified in Remap Project Does Not Save to Project's WMP File (258803)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Site Server 3.0

This article was previously published under Q258803

SYMPTOMS

When you run a Remap Project and choose a unique Report Prefix, the new reports are created and saved in the Microsoft Site Server\Data\Reports\Content directory. If you then save the project, reopen the project, and then select Remap Project again, the Report Prefix is not the same as the prefix you last entered in that text box, instead it is the prefix that was entered in the Generate Reports dialog box.

CAUSE

Changes to the contents in the Report file name prefix text box in the Generate Reports dialog box change the report file name prefix that populates the Report file name prefix text box in both the Generate Reports dialog box and the Report Prefix text box in the Remap Project dialog box. Changes to the contents in the Report prefix text box in the Remap Project dialog box does not.
