SYMPTOMS

When you use the Find People feature in Outlook Express, the Advanced tab may be missing the text box where you type your search parameters.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you configure the display settings on the computer to 1280x1024 and you set system font to Large Fonts.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change the display settings to a lower resolution and set the system font to Small Fonts.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
