XWEB: Contact Toolbar Remains Unavailable When You Cancel the Deletion of a Public Folder Contact (256470)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 to access Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access (OWA), if you cancel the deletion of a public folder contact, the Contact toolbar remains unavailable. You cannot use any of the buttons on the toolbar or save any changes to the contact.

WORKAROUND

To close the contact, click the Close button in the upper left corner of the Contact window. Then re-open the Contact to make any modifications.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
