When you use the LDP utility (Ldp.exe) to connect to a domain controller and view attributes, some values contain the phrase Binary BLOB, which signifies Binary Large Objects.

BLOB is used whenever a string is multivalued. To view the contents of a binary BLOB, you can use two tools: Ldp.exe (in binary mode), and ADSIEdit.
To view the contents of a binary BLOB with LDP, choose Options, choose General, change Value Parsing to "binary," and then double-click the object. The values are displayed on the right side of the screen.
To view the contents of a binary BLOB with ADSIEdit, connect to the Distinguished Name, and select the attribute from the drop-down list.
