XWEB: Group by Received View Uses ISO 8601 Date Format in Group Headers (255405)

SYMPTOMS

When viewing items in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access by using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, and if the view is grouped by Received Date, the resulting view shows the dates in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 8601 format in the group headers.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.

MORE INFORMATION

The ISO 8601 format does not reflect the local time zone, and it is difficult to read.

On Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x, the view is different. However, the time still shows up incorrectly because the ISO 8601 format is being used.
