XWEB: Saved Unsent E-mail Messages Automatically Saved to the Drafts Folder (255358)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
This article was previously published under Q255358 SYMPTOMS
When you save a copy of an unsent e-mail message with Microsoft Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA), you are not notified where the message is saved.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. MORE INFORMATION
By default, OWA saves copies of unsent e-mail messages in the Drafts folder. To view this folder, click the Folders tab of the Outlook bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or click the Folders icon in the Outlook bar for all other browsers.
NOTE: OWA does not recognize the Microsoft Outlook advanced e-mail option that allows you to specify where to save unsent items. If you set this option in Outlook, unsent messages are saved to the Drafts folder when you use OWA.
