This article describes why some adapters on a combined analog and digital wide area network (WAN) always display logical ports as digital.

Certain WAN adapters terminate both analog and digital calls. All of the logical ports presented by these adapters appear to be digital. As a result, when you use these WAN adapters, you cannot define a different Remote Access Policy for analog and digital calls.
