To configure the SideWinder Dual Strike game controller to function in Motocross Madness:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Game Controllers.
  3. Click Microsoft SideWinder Dual Strike, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Schemes tab.
  5. In the Selected Scheme box, click Motocross Madness.
  6. Click to select the Enable all schemes for SideWinder software 4.0 check box, and then click OK.
  7. Start Motocross Madness.
  8. On the Motocross Madness startup screen, click Options, and then click Control Options.
  9. Click the Control button until "2-Axis, 4-Button Joystick" is displayed.
  10. Click Restore Defaults.
  11. Click OK, and then click Back.
