When you run Outlook and schedule an online meeting using the This is an online meeting using: NetMeeting option, the start time on your calendar is different than the start time of the meeting. Your start time has a reminder that is set 10 minutes earlier than that of all the other people who were invited to attend the meeting.
CAUSE
This is the way that NetMeeting was designed to behave. Because you see a reminder 10 minutes before the attendees, you can get NetMeeting started before the other attendees try to connect. If the attendees try to connect before you, they get errors. This design gives you, the organizer, a head start.
