WD2000: CAPS LOCK Key Stops Responding with French Keyboard Driver Installed (248640)

When you are typing in Word 2000, one of the following may occur:
- The CAPS LOCK key stops responding completely.
- The CAPS LOCK key still works, but the CAPS LOCK light on the keyboard no longer reflects the current CAPS LOCK status.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are both true:
- A French keyboard driver is installed as the default.
- More than one document is currently open in Word.
