WD2000: Nothing Happens or Word Stops Responding When You Click Web Page Preview (244838)

When you attempt to preview your Word document as a Web page (on the File menu, click Web Page Preview), nothing happens or Microsoft Word stops responding (hangs).
This problem occurs in the following two cases:
Case 1
In Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows 98, if Microsoft Photo Editor is open and you try to view your Word document as a Web page, nothing happens.
Case 2
In Microsoft Windows 2000, if Microsoft Photo Editor and Microsoft Internet Explorer are open and you try to view your Word document as a Web page, Microsoft Word stops responding (hangs).
WORKAROUND
To view your Word document as a Web page, close Microsoft Photo Editor.
