SYMPTOMS
When you register a database for use with the Access Workflow Designer, only Microsoft FrontPage webs are supported. There is no support for virtual webs. So, if you create one or more virtual folders and try to register a database created in the virtual folder with the Access Workflow Designer, you receive the following error message
Web 'http://<server name>/<virtual folder>' does not exist. Do you want this web created for you?
where <server name> is the name of the Access Workflow Designer server computer and <virtual folder> is the name of the created virtual folder.
CAUSE
Only FrontPage webs are supported. There is no support for virtual folders.
RESOLUTION
Use FrontPage webs instead of virtual folders. If you have an existing virtual folder, you can use FrontPage to convert it to a FrontPage web.
For more information about converting a virtual folder to a FrontPage web, click Microsoft FrontPage Help on the
Help menu, type frontpage in the Office Assistant or
the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topics
returned.
