Cannot Change to Full Screen Mode When Radio Toolbar Is Selected (243702)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using Internet Explorer 5.01, you cannot change to Full Screen mode when the Radio toolbar is the active control.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior and change to Full Screen mode, press ALT+V+F, or click Full Screen on the View menu.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

The Radio toolbar provides streaming radio playback. By default, the Radio toolbar is not displayed when you start Internet Explorer. To display the Radio toolbar when you start Internet Explorer, follow these steps in Internet Explorer:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Under Multimedia, click to select the Always show Internet Explorer Radio bar check box.
  4. Click OK.
This option displays the Radio toolbar if you enable the toolbar by pointing to Toolbars on the View menu, and then clicking Radio.
