This article was previously published under Q243433 SYMPTOMS When you download components from the Windows Update site,
you are prompted to either agree or disagree to the terms of the End User License
Agreement (EULA). The Yes and No buttons may not appear in the End User License
Agreement dialog box, and you cannot continue with the download procedure. CAUSE This problem occurs if you are using Internet Explorer Accessibility and Font
settings. If you use these settings, the text in the EULA may be too large to be displayed completely in the dialog box. This problem may also occur if
the Style Sheets functionality is not turned on in Internet Explorer. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, change the Accessibility settings or change the Font settings. To change the Accessibility settings: - In Internet Explorer 5 or later, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- Click the General tab, and then click Accessibility.
- Click to clear all check boxes.
- Click OK.
- Click Tools, and then click Windows Update to return to the Windows Update Web site.
- Try to download the component again to make sure that the Yes and No buttons appear on the EULA.
If you want to keep your Accessibility settings, change your Font settings instead.
To change your Font settings, follow these steps. Note Only perform the following procedure if you want to keep your
Accessibility settings active.
- In Internet Explorer 5 or later, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- Click the General tab, and then click Fonts.
- In the Font box, click Times New Roman, click OK, and then click OK again.
If you use certain fonts with the
Accessibility settings (for example, Comic Sans MS), the Yes and No buttons do not appear. - Click Tools, and then click Windows Update to return to the Windows Update Web site.
- Try to download the component again to make sure that the Yes and No buttons appear on the EULA.
If the problem is not resolved after you complete the procedures that are described in this section, turn on the Style Sheets functionality in Internet Explorer.
