Works 2000: Appointment Text Is Truncated in View Month Screen (242441)

SYMPTOMS

When you view or print the View Month screen in Works Calendar in Microsoft Works 2000, appointment text may be truncated.

If you print the View Month screen in portrait mode, the left and right ends of the appointment text may be truncated. If you print the View Month screen in landscape mode, the right end of the appointment text may be truncated.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the appointment text extends beyond the width of the space provided for the day the appointment is scheduled.

NOTE: The appointment text does not word wrap, and any text that extends beyond the space provided is hidden from view.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, view or print your appointments from the View Day or View Week screen.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
