SYMPTOMS

When you use Makecm.vbs to create a new content store and you attempt to point to a directory without including the drive letter, the following error message occurs:
Failed to create directory <path to the MAKECM.VBS file>\<path that was given to the MAKECM.VBS as the /d: argument> -- Error number=4C (76). String=Parameter MetabaseReplication not found

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, enter the drive letter and path to the directory where you want to create the content store.
