VIZACT: All New Shapes Have Same Name in Timeline (240411)

SYMPTOMS

When you insert more than one of the same shape or AutoShape, each shape has the same name in the timeline. For example, when you insert two oval shapes, each shape is named Oval in the timeline.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, rename each shape to a different name so that you can more easily recognize it on the timeline.

To do this, select the shape on the page, right-click its timebar in the timeline, and then click Rename. Type your new, unique name for the shape, and then click OK.
