Works Suite 2000: Images Are Changed When Opening a .Wps Document in Word (239407)

When you open a document in Microsoft Word that was created with Microsoft Works 2000 Word Processor, and the document contains images, the images may change, move, or disappear.
Specifically, you may be unable to reformat or delete the image; and although you can move the image, you may be unable to resize it with the grab handles.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when an image is created in Works 2000 Word Processor and the image is formatted with word wrapping.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, you can use the grab handles to shrink the box that the image is in to make the image disappear, and then you can replace the image.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Works Suite 2000.
