Works 2000 Calendar: Error Message: "There Isn't Enough Memory for Print, Send To Or Export" (239363)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Works 2000 Calendar, when you attempt to export calendar information, you may receive the following error message:
There isn't enough memory for Print, Send To or Export.
This error message appears when you do the following:
  1. In Works 2000 Calendar, on the File menu, you point to Export, and then you click HTML.
  2. In the Choose Directory dialog box, you type a folder name, and then you click OK.

CAUSE

This error message appears when you type a folder name in the Choose Directory dialog box, and that folder does not already exist on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, type a valid folder name (that is, a folder that already exists on your computer) in the Choose Directory dialog box.

If you want to save the calendar information to a folder that does not already exist on your computer, create the folder using Windows Explorer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works 2000.

TIP: Works 2000 assigns a numerical name to the calendar file when you export it as an HTML file. You may want to change the name so that it is more descriptive. You can change the names of the HTML and .vcs files by using Windows Explorer.
