Works: Only the Far Right Side of the Document Is Printed (239307)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a Microsoft Works Word Processor document that you created by using a Works Word Processor template, only the far right side of the document may be printed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

  • You print the document to a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4Si printer.

  • The printer is configured to use vector graphics.

NOTE: When the printer is configured to use vector graphics, not enough memory is available to print the entire document.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, configure the printer to use raster graphics:
  1. Start the Works Word Processor.
  2. On the File menu, click Print.
  3. In the Print dialog box, click Properties.
  4. Click the Graphics tab.
  5. Under Graphics Mode, click Use raster graphics, and then click OK.
