SYMPTOMS

When you insert a table into a Microsoft Works 2000 Word Processor document, and you then attempt to insert a footnote into the table, the Footnote command on the Insert menu is not available.

CAUSE

Works 2000 Word Processor does not support footnotes or endnotes in tables.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Works 2000.
