Works 2000: Error Message: "MSWKSWP Caused an Invalid Page Fault in Module QDWKD.dll" (239189)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to insert a table in your document, you may receive the following error message:
MSWKSWP caused an invalid page fault in module QDWKD.dll

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if there is hardly any disk space available on your hard disk. To determine the amount of disk space available on your hard disk, follow these steps:

NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Right-click Start on your Microsoft Windows desktop, and then click Explore.
  2. In the Folders pane, click My Computer.
  3. In the right pane, note the contents of the Free Space column for each local disk.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, do any one of the following:
  • Delete unwanted files from your hard disk.

    WARNING: Be certain that the files that you are deleting are not application files. Delete only those files that you may have created and no longer need.

    -or-

  • Install a hard disk that has a larger drive capacity.

    -or-

  • If your computer is able to support the addition, add another hard disk to your computer.
