When you run Windows NT using one or more filter drivers (such as virus scanners or quota software), the system may fail with a STOP code 0x7F (UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP) and the first parameter of 8 (Double Fault).
RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes.
