VIZACT: Unable to Create Hyperlinks From Favorites Folder (238683)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a hyperlink in Vizact and click Favorites on the left (or browse to the location of your favorites in the file system), none of your favorites appear. You will see your folders, but the links themselves are not listed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, follow these steps:
  1. In the Insert Hyperlink (or Edit Hyperlink) dialog box, click the Search the Web button on the toolbar.
  2. In your Web browser, select the desired link from your Favorites menu.
  3. Switch to Vizact. The hyperlink of the site will appear in the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.
  4. To add the hyperlink to the page, click OK to the dialog box .

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
