MSPS: Telephone Line Remains Busy After Incoming Call Arrives (238657)

After Microsoft Call Manager answers an incoming call, your telephone
line may remain busy.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Notification feature of Call Manager is
enabled and configured to dial your telephone number.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, configure the Notification feature to dial your
pager or another telephone number:
- Start Microsoft Call Manager.
- Click Mailbox Setup.
- Right-click the mailbox configured with the Notification feature,
and then click Properties.
- Under Notification, click Settings.
- In the Where To Notify Me box, type the telephone number
for your pager or another telephone number where you want to be
contacted.
MORE INFORMATION
The Notification feature of Call Manager is designed to notify you at
remote locations when you have new messages. As message notification is
unique for each mailbox, you must enable the Notification feature for
each mailbox you want to use this feature with.
