CDSETUP-MS Press Interactive software runs slowly when anti-virus software enabled (238509)

SYMPTOMS

You may experience performance problems while running the MS Press Interactive Training CD and some anti-virus software programs at the same time.

RESOLUTION

Do not use the MPI Trainings Cache Manager feature while the anti-virus software is running. You can disable the MPI Cache Manager using the following steps:
  1. In the Table of Contents window, click the Tools menu.
  2. Click Cache Manager.
  3. Clear the Enable Cache Manager check box.
