OL2000: Invalid Page Fault in Module Fxdb.dll (238224)

SYMPTOMS

When you start Outlook, you may receive the following error message:
Outlook caused an invalid page fault in module Fxdb.dll.

CAUSE

The Corel 2000 address book has been reported to cause this problem. You may have Corel 2000 installed and the Corel address book is in your mail profile or accounts.

RESOLUTION

To remove the Corel address book from your mail profile or accounts:
  1. Quit all programs. If you have just received the error message, restart your computer.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click the Mail or Mail and Fax icon.
  4. Remove any references to Corel address book.
